Lavazza Espression

I decided to go for a late afternoon stroll after a long day at the internship. Unexpected plans are usually the most worthwhile because you'll never know what you're gonna experience. And this day was one of those.

As I was walking along the Harbourfront Centre, all I could hear was music playing. So I had to see it and found out that there was a Streetside Kick-Off Party for the Toronto 2015 Pan Am Games. There was live music, vintage trucks, and people were dancing! It was like a mini concert and it was so much fun. For more info, click HERE.

I was too distracted by the music that I didn't even notice there was a cafe nearby. Now I am very glad that I discovered this and that I walked in and grabbed a bite. As soon as you open the door, you can smell the richness of the coffee and has a very calming ambience. The staff were also all very friendly. They actually laughed at me when I asked for permission to take photos (they really don't care as long as I don't take photos of them I guess)

Unfortunately, I wasn't able to take a photo of what I ordered. So sad it was my first time too! It just so happens that my camera was acting up a bit. DEPRESSING. Anyway, I got a mixed berry smoothie and one of their chicken wraps. Don't remember what it was called. Something along chicken provolone(?) haha I'm horrible. It was to die for though and I can't wait for the next time I visit (and I'll remind myself to check what I got the first time).

The items were a little on the pricey side but it is definitely worth a try. Although I wouldn't have second thoughts coming back again when I decide to walk around the area possibly some time soon. To learn more about the company, click HERE.
